On Friday\, September 12\, 2025\, you’re invited to Parkview’s Patio Room at the ACC for a noontime gathering that turns “lunchtime” into an event worth circling on your calendar. \nWhat’s on the Menu\nEach Diner Days Luncheon comes with a choice of entrée: \n\nClassic Meatloaf for those who love a hearty\, nostalgic dish.\nEggplant Parmesan for a delicious vegetarian option that doesn’t skimp on flavor.\n\nEvery plate also includes a themed side\, dessert\, and your choice of wine or cider to toast the afternoon. \nAnd because no meal is complete without music\, each luncheon includes live entertainment to make the atmosphere as enjoyable as the food. It’s where hearty entrées meet live music\, and neighbors become friends. \n  \n \n  \nAbout Friends of the ACC\nThe Friends of the SCACC enable you to express your support and recognition of the value of the Adult Community Center in the San Carlos community. It is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation designed to receive and administer donations\, grants and bequests to exclusively support the center. The Friends of SCACC is about: Caring\, Helping\, Remembering \n​The San Carlos community has demonstrated over the years that it cares for all its diverse groups\, and particularly the elderly. In 1982 the city built the Adult Community Center and since then has continued a series of programs designed to add to the quality of life of our seniors. \nFunding limitations can materially impact the improvement and expansion of services. The community\, however\, recognized the need for helping the ACC. Scores of volunteers from throughout the city\, including The Friends\, have donated countless hours each year to sustain existing services and add others. \nThe ACC has played a positive role in the lives of many San Carlos seniors. Many seniors have acknowledged this by making voluntary donations\, bequests\, and including the Adult Community Center in their Estate Plans as a way of remembering its impact on their lives and the lives of others. \nA Tax-Exempt\, Non Profit Organization \nThe Friends of the SCACC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to accept financial gifts for the ACC.
