DESCRIPTION:Put on your cowboy boots and join the Friends of the San Carlos Adult Community Center for a fun-filled “Boots Blue Jeans and BBQ” hoedown! Get ready for live music by the Bootleg Band\, dancing\, prizes\, and a delicious BBQ dinner with options like pork ribs\, chicken\, and portobello mushrooms\, along with all the classic sides and dessert. A no-host wine and beer bar will also be available. \nDinner Menu at Boots Blue Jeans and BBQ\n\nPork Ribs\nChicken\nPortobello Mushroom\nWith Side Fixings of Baked Beans\, Corn\, Potato Salad\, Cole Slaw & Cornbread. \nDessert bar.\n\nAll proceeds will go towards funding a new sound system for the Adult Community Center. \n  \n \nBuy Tickets Now\n\nAbout Friends of the ACC\n \nThe Friends of the SCACC enable you to express your support and recognition of the value of the Adult Community Center in the San Carlos community. It is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation designed to receive and administer donations\, grants and bequests to exclusively support the center. The Friends of SCACC is about: Caring\, Helping\, Remembering \n​The San Carlos community has demonstrated over the years that it cares for all its diverse groups\, and particularly the elderly. In 1982 the city built the Adult Community Center and since then has continued a series of programs designed to add to the quality of life of our seniors. \nFunding limitations can materially impact the improvement and expansion of services. The community\, however\, recognized the need for helping the ACC. Scores of volunteers from throughout the city\, including The Friends\, have donated countless hours each year to sustain existing services and add others. \nThe ACC has played a positive role in the lives of many San Carlos seniors. Many seniors have acknowledged this by making voluntary donations\, bequests\, and including the Adult Community Center in their Estate Plans as a way of remembering its impact on their lives and the lives of others. \nA Tax-Exempt\, Non Profit Organization \nThe Friends of the SCACC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to accept financial gifts for the ACC.
