SUMMARY:The Amazing Bay Area Garden Railroad Exhibit at Hiller Aviation
DESCRIPTION:Live Steam Locomotives at Hiller Aviation Museum: A Day with the Bay Area Garden Railroad Society\nStep into the world of classic railroading at the Hiller Aviation Museum on March 15\, 2025\, as the Bay Area Garden Railroad Society showcases its waist-high live steam track. This special event brings the charm of historic locomotives to life\, giving visitors a close-up look at steam-powered model trains in action. \n  \n \n\nExperience the Magic of Live Steam Locomotives\nUnlike modern electric model trains\, these live steam locomotives are powered by butane-fueled fires that boil water to produce steam—just like full-sized locomotives have done for the past 180 years. As the steam builds up\, it drives the pistons\, propelling these beautifully crafted trains along the track. Visitors will be mesmerized by the sight and sound of these miniature steam engines\, puffing clouds of steam as they move along the waist-high railway track. \n  \n \n  \nSee History in Motion\nThis event is a must-see for model train enthusiasts\, history buffs\, and families alike. With a variety of old-time steam locomotives running throughout the day\, you’ll witness firsthand how steam power revolutionized transportation. Whether you’re a seasoned train hobbyist or a first-time viewer\, the intricate details and smooth operation of these garden railway locomotives will captivate all ages. \nEvent Details\n📅 Date: March 15\, 2025\n⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM\n📍 Venue: Hiller Aviation Museum\n🏢 Location: 601 Skyway Rd.\, San Carlos\n📍 View on Google Maps \nThis live steam locomotive exhibition is an unforgettable experience\, bringing the magic of historic railways right to San Carlos.
